  Works as a high speed voltage regulator adjusting the output voltage in each line cycle. Can work with powers up to 1 to 2 Mva and even much more.

Works in step regulation, but presents  a thyristor forced commutation structure. The thyristor commutation system is not current dependent and can face very high over currents, limited only by the structure of the semiconductors. This topology was created by Us.
An output or input filter can be added to the system to improve echo, sags, fast transients, transforming it in a line improver and conditioner.
Is adviced for using in large industrial systems with very poor characteristics,  where line filtering and conditioning is needed, transforming the mains in a high quality system.
