The main purpose of those high reliability systems is the Supplying of telephone exchange stations . To achieve very high reliability they have to be based in three simultaneous events and parallelism of multiple modules.

The system of the photo is a1993 1994 project. There were others at different times and under different specifications: For Comércio e Industria Induco – 1972 (BJT Transistors model in the supervising unit), in 1975 with integrated circuits and in 1978 wit microprocessor and under TELEBRÁS Standards.

For Indelsul Indústrias Eletrônicas do Sul S/A – 1982 Microprocessor Model and project for SEMIKRON Microcontrolled model of 1994 – This last one has a token ring fiber optical link for local control and remote management. A same equipment has been designed for GPL Eletroeletrônica S/A 2001 Project with microcontrollers.

All those equipments made part with more than 30% of the Brazilian telecommunications backbone and the total of equipments installed in the country. They were installed in Teleamazon, Telepará, Embratel, Telesc, Telebahia, Telepar, Telerj, Teleceará, Telesp, Telesc, CRT, Telemig, Telpe an all other companies of the TELEBRÁS SYSTEM and some in the Eletrobrás System.

This telecommunications power source bellow is an example of many versions in a same telecommunication station. The equipment in first plane is a quadruple -48/400Amp Indelsul Converter, or version of 1986. The equipment in the second plane is a double -48V/400A Indelsul Converter or version of 1982 the rest of the power supply is of Induco with the project of 1978.

The two converters are expansions at different times. This is a property of the TELEBRÁS standards. Modularity. The output parameters of an equipment is controlled in order to work many different equipments and manufacturers same time.
